You Aren’t Alone Live Art Event

Connection at the Intersection of Mental Health & Art

The You Aren’t Alone Live Art Event brings together artists and community members to change the conversation around mental health and connect through the beauty, power, and vulnerability of art. It offers a unique glimpse into artists' mental health journeys interpreted through visual & and performance art–the pain, the loss, the hope, and the triumph. The goal is to provide a safe space for mental health to be discussed and connection and hope to be shared through the hearts and minds of creatives.

All proceeds will support You Aren't Alone Project initiatives to facilitate and change conversations around mental health so that no one ever has to feel alone.

The 2022 You Aren’t Alone Live Art Event was held on April 1, 2022 at Gallery 14 in Baton Rouge. Artists and community members came together to change the conversation around mental health and connect through the beauty, power and vulnerability of art. Thanks to an amazing outpouring of support, we welcomed more than 35 artists and over 200 attendees and raised $7000 for You Aren’t Alone Project initiatives. Thank you our artists, sponsors, vendors, individual donations, volunteers, board of directors, attendees and to every single person that helped make it all possible. We couldn’t do any of this alone.

  • In 2019, the inaugural event showcased 32 artists across disciplines including song, dance, visual art, creative writing and more, and hosted over 200 guests at Mid City Ballroom. The success of our first event solidified it as the signature fundraiser for the You Aren’t Alone Project, and we are excited to invite community partners like you to join us this year.
