Call for Artists

Call for Creatives!
Mental Health Toolkits

The You Aren’t Alone Project is calling all artists, writers, and makers to help us create Creative Wellness Toolkits for Capitol High School students. These kits will be distributed to students from diverse backgrounds who could all use a few more tools to help them navigate school and life right now.

We’re looking for meaningful, creative pieces that center mental health, reflection, and self-expression—things you wish you had when you were younger or now (with a Gen Z twist). Some ideas include:

  • Mental health–themed zines

  • “What I Wish I Knew” notes or affirmations

  • Custom stickers

  • Journaling prompt cards

  • CBT & DBT activities

  • Poetry, art prints, or mini posters

  • Grounding or mindfulness activities

  • Mental health resources

All printing and supply costs are covered by YAAP — we just need your creativity.

🖌️ Deadline to submit: December 15

Thank you for helping us make mental health more accessible, creative, and human. Together, we can remind these students that they aren’t alone.
