THE SEMICOLON WALLS (TSW)

A Mental Health Art Gallery in collaboration with Redstick C.A.R.E.S

5475 Essen Lane Baton Rouge, LA 70810

Has art gotten you through the darkness before?

The Semicolon Walls is a space to share your struggle and your healing, break down the stigma of mental health, and build community with other artists who have been there, too. A semicolon is used when a sentence could have ended, but it didn't. For so many of us struggling with mental health issues and life in general, it can all feel like too much to handle. Our hope is that TSW exhibit serves as a reminder that your story is never over and hope and healing is possible.

The exhibit is open to the public and will be displayed in the lobby of Redstick C.A.R.E.S. / Heal Your Life Counseling. We view it as an inspiration for the public, and also a space for artists to support each other through our monthly meetups.

Visit the public gallery during normal business hours.

Redstick C.A.R.E.S. is a community nonprofit that focuses on building mental, emotional, and behavioral support through human connection through counseling, advocacy, groups, classes and workshops.

TSW Monthly Meetups

As part of The Semicolon Walls, we want to welcome artists and creatives to join us for monthly creative meetups.

Join us each month to connect with other creatives over shared journeys. We'll have therapists on site to help facilitate discussions around mental health, and most of all, give you a safe, supportive space to share your story.

No matter how you define the term "creative," we invite anyone to take part in this free program.

Next meetup will be announced soon.
